Bom, eu conheco essa banda desde 2001 e é super fodaaaa.... São super famosos nos USA mas aqui no Brasil parece que pouco conhecem, oq é um absurdo, pois essa banda é uma grande influência para tantas outras bandas como Creed, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down entre outras...

Staind BIOGRAFIA
Desde que lançaram o álbum Dysfunction em Abril de 1999, os Staind construíram uma memorável história de sucesso; a banda consegue três hits com os singles “Just Go”, “Mudshovel”, “Home”; actuam para centenas de milhares de fans em tournées com Kid Rock, Monster Magnet, Sevendust, Korn e com os seus “padrinhos” Limp Bizkit, e vendem milhões de discos.
 
A história dos Staind começa em Nova Inglaterra quando o vocalista Aaron Lewis e o guitarrista Mike Mushok se encontraram numa festa de Natal em 1993. Moshok convence o baterista Jon Wysocki a juntar-se ao grupo e um baixista amigo de Lewis (que já não faz parte da banda) formam o primeiro line up da banda em 1995.

A banda começa a tocar com alguma regularidade em alguns espectáculos pelos Estados Unidos e Aaron envia uma demo a Fred Durst (vocalista dos Limp Biskit) que imediatamente os convida para abrirem a primeira parte de um concerto do grupo em Hartford.

Nesse concerto, e quando os Staind já se preparavam para entrar em palco, Fred Durst tece alguns comentários juncosos à banda ao ver a capa do seu primeiro disco Tormented. Para Durst a capa era de mau gosto e satânica. Após uma acessa discussão sobre se os Staind seriam ou não adoradores do Diabo, Durst atira pega violentamente no cd e abandona a sala. Passados 45 minutos Durst regressa não para voltar à discussão mas para garantir que não perdia o contacto com os Staind. Durst assiste ainda a fabulosa actuação dos Staind nessa noite e ambos trocam os seus números de telefone.

Depois de Fred Durst tocar algumas das músicas por telefone a Jordan Schur, presidente da Flip Records, os Staind são contratados pela editora e o álbum Dysfunction é lançado pela Flip/Electra em Abril de 1999. O álbum alcança a platina nos Estados Unidos

Break the Cycle o terceiro álbum da banda, é lançado em Maio de 2001 e atinge no Billboard Top 200 o número 1 com mais de 716.000 cópias vendidas. O álbum deverá ter vendido perto de 7 milhões de cópias no mundo inteiro.

“14 Shades Of Grey”, lançado a 20 de Maio de 2003, tem uma música intitulada “Layne”, que nada mais é do que uma homenagem ao vocalista do Alice in Chains, Layne Staley, morto em Abril do ano passado por overdose.

Ahhhh todas são muito fortes e lindas. Quem puder baixa logo os albuns inteiros hehehe. O STAIND sim é uma banda de ROCK!!!

Eu conheço Staind, mas não muito.
 
Eu já ouvi o Chapter V, é legal. A música Everything Changes tem uma letra muito bonita.

Minha música preferida é a So Far Away, adoro a letra dela também.

Hey Aslan, sorry, mas STAIND em nada lembra essas a bandas. Muito em nada lembra o MCR e Nickelback só lembra do fato de ser Rock e o fato das bandas serem amigas. Mas parecidadas, JAMAIS!!!!

E o Legionario te recomendou? Lembro que uma vez perguntei a ele se ele conhecia, ele me disse q não (oq em nada me admira xD) o.õ

Eu baixei qse todas as musicas dessa banda nao conheço muito a historia dos caras mas q eles mandam bem isso eu concordo ^_^

acabei de baixar essa Price to Play. o vocal se parece um pouco com o do Nickelback, e as vezes (bem poucas vezes) com o do Kurt  :blink:  mas bem pouca coisa mesmo, só em algumas partes da musica.
